Yes, I am a UK taxpayer. I would like UK for UNHCR to claim Gift Aid on this donation, as well as any future donations and any donations made to UK for UNHCR in the past four years. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Afghanistan Earthquake

On 31st August 2025 a deadly 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan. Hundreds have been killed and thousands injured. Entire communities lie in ruins and families have lost everything.

UNHCR and partners are on the ground, racing to deliver emergency supplies inside Afghanistan like tents for families.

Your support is critical. Every donation helps reach more families with the aid they need to survive.

Millions of people in Afghanistan are trapped in poverty and hunger, amid economic collapse and with human rights - particularly for women and girls - under attack. More than 2.4 million Afghans have returned or been forced to return to Afghanistan this year, many with nowhere safe to go.
