Yes, I am a UK taxpayer. I would like UK for UNHCR to claim Gift Aid on this donation, as well as any future donations and any donations made to UK for UNHCR in the past four years. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that UK for UNHCR will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give. The Gift Aid claimed will be used to help fund the whole of UK for UNHCR's work.

Flooding across East and Horn of Africa

Heavy rainfall across the East and Horn of Africa has caused flooding and landslides across the region. Hundreds of thousands of homes, schools and community buildings have been destroyed, forcing families to flee.

Please donate today to provide life-saving relief to families who have lost everything.

The floods have washed away crops, and killed livestock, putting people in danger of hunger, infection, and disease. With heavy rains and extreme climate events expected to continue in the coming months, more lives could be at risk.

UNHCR is on the ground, working directly with governments and local authorities to move people to safer ground and set up emergency shelter. We have already distributed core relief items, but more help is urgently needed.
