This joint appeal brings together UNHCR’s expertise in protecting families forced to flee and WFP’s experience in the fight against hunger. To ensure your donation has the greatest impact on people affected by the emergency in Ukraine, 70% will go towards delivering shelter, psychosocial support and protection, financial assistance and other life-saving aid and 30% to providing food.

Yes, I am a UK taxpayer. I would like UK for UNHCR to claim Gift Aid on this donation, as well as any future donations and any donations made to UK for UNHCR in the past four years. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi has stated that the humanitarian consequences on civilians of this military action will be devastating.
