Yes, I am a UK taxpayer. I would like UK for UNHCR to claim Gift Aid on this donation, as well as any future donations and any donations made to UK for UNHCR in the past four years. Horn of Africa Drought

Food prices are increasing. Droughts are becoming more extreme. And refugees and displaced people are bearing the brunt.

“We have never seen drought like this. It has affected everyone.”

The entire Horn of Africa is experiencing drought—in Somalia alone, 90% of the country is severely affected. Millions of people in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya are farmers who depend on their livestock and crops for survival.

People are being forced to flee their homes in search of water and food. Some, already displaced by conflict in the region are being forced to flee again.
