Yes, I am a UK taxpayer. I would like UK for UNHCR to claim Gift Aid on this donation, as well as any future donations and any donations made to UK for UNHCR in the past four years. EMERGENCY: Earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria

A deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake has struck southern Türkiye, near Gaziantep close to the border with Syria. Less than 12 hours later, a second powerful earthquake has hit the region.

The earthquakes have claimed several thousand lives across Türkiye and Syria with thousands more injured.

Many countries in the region are also affected. This includes thousands of refugees, internally displaced people and the communities that have been generously hosting them for nearly 12 years.

We need your help. Please donate today.

UNHCR teams in the area are assessing the situation. As a lead humanitarian organisation with teams present in both Türkiye and Syria, UNHCR is ready to respond and help provide urgent relief to survivors wherever possible.
